As our Trainee DJ you will learn from our Resident DJ’s to play set lists for our sessions, ensuring a variety of music is played to create a fun and lively atmosphere.
You’ll learn to be a competent compere, hosting a range of games and activities, creating a fun and lively atmosphere and promoting our services and upcoming events etc.
With an ear for music and an eye on the mood of the room, you’ll learn to tailor your style of music to suit your audiences’ tastes. To succeed in this role you must have passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
This is your chance to create truly amazing experience for our guests.
We may look to combine this role with our Entertainment and Events Management position. In this role you will also be responsible for planning and promoting new events. Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential. A strong understanding of Social Media marketing would be beneficial.

Cook and or Café Assistant

Rollerworld are looking for 2 people to help run our busy kitchen. The first will be a cook with a view to becoming a kitchen supervisor once trained. The second will be a kitchen assistant who will help with the tills and help the cook with running our busy kitchen, they will work the tills and help prepare drinks etc. Both job roles require flexibility to help out in other roles in Rollerworld if needed as well.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
- Prepares foods to the specifications of the client
- Prepares food before the arrival of guests
- Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
- May need to manage other employees in the kitchen once trained
- Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
- Works with management to ensure stock levels are correct and orders done correctly
- Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, fryers and microwave
- Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
- Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
- Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation
- May be asked to keeps records and accounts of food purchases
- Orders new menu items for specials or cheap deals
- Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
- Come up with ideas of menu changes to make more profitable and appealing
- Cleans up after business hours
- Communicates with owner about how to improve meal service
- Alters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements
- Prepares food for clients. Helps devise new methods of cooking and new menu items. Streamlines work from back of house to front of house.

To call all party parents one week before the party to go over food and party options and confirm numbers for food orders.
To add any extra requirements our guests might need.
To meet and greet the party at reception when they arrive and give out wristbands and introduce yourself.
To explain to the party parent how the party will run.
To prepare the table names, decorations and any other items needed on the day.
To prepare the food or organise other staff to cook.
Be organised and get timings right for each party
To get the kids excited, doing competitions between parties, singing and even dancing.
Keep party parents informed, up to date and happy. Happy parents = happy parties.
